Apple may be having a hard time keeping the iPad 2 in stock in the States, but the company has announced it will start selling its new tablet in 25 additional countries this Friday. Sales will start at 5:00PM at retail stores across the world and at 1:00AM from Apple’s web site.

The iPad 2 will be available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Noticeably absent from the list are countries in Asia, but Apple promises that Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, and additional countries will get the iPad 2 starting in April.
