Like pretty much every other company on-hand at CES last week, Hannspree had a few tablets to show off. I didn’t get a chance to check them out in person, but the folks at Notebook Italia got the scoop on the new 7 and 10 inch models from Hannspree.
The first 10 inch model will have a high resolution, 1280 x 800 pixel display and will eventually run Android 3.0 Honeycomb, although the demo unit is running an earlier build of Android with Hannspree’s custom software running on top. This model has HDMI output, a micro USB port, a SIM card slot, and up to 10 hours of battery life. It’s due out in May.
A second 10 inch model has a 1024 x 600 pixel display, Android 2.2 or 2.3, and an optional 3G modem.
Notebook Italia says Hannspree is still considering whether to release a 7 inch model or not. You can check out a video of the 10 inch, high resolution tablet after the break.
