You know how we got the first photos of Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb running on the Barnes & Noble NOOKcolor the other day? Well if static images weren’t painting the picture for you, there are a couple of videos showing the OS running on the eBook reader/tablet.
This is still an early build, patched together using code from the recently released Honeycomb software developer kit. Things will likely get a lot more interesting once Google releases the source code for the operating system. But independent developer deeper-blue did manage to get hardware accelerated graphics working, which means Honeycomb looks quick, responsive, and kind of awesome on Barnes & Noble’s $250 tablet.
The accelerometer, sound, and WiFi still aren’t working. But if you want to get a good look at what the Honeycomb user interface will look like on an actual tablet, check out the videos after the break.

Get it working good, boys — I’m buying one of these things in June, and would love to run a full version of Android 3.0 on it.
Just saw this on Slashdot. Congrats!
