Acer has unveiled a new 4G LTE capable tablet which it will show off at the Verizon booth at CES this week. The Acer ICONIA Tab A500 will run Google Android, but it will also feature a custom user interface designed by Acer, cleverly called “Acer UI 4.5.”
The A500 features a 10.1 inch capacitive touchscreen display and an aluminum case. It has an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and will feature Clear.fi media sharing, which will allow users to stream audio and video content across a home network, and HDMI output for playing 1080p HD video on an external display.
The tablet measures about half an inch thick.
