Plenty of companies are hoping to take on the Apple iPad with Android tablets that have 7 or 10 inch displays. But for some reason very few have an Apple-like 9.7 inch screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Enter the Woori Pad, a Korean tablet with a 9.7 inch screen and a 1028 x 764 pixel screen resolution.

The tablet has a 1GHz processor and comes with 16GB to 32GB of storage space. Unlike the Apple iPad, it has a microSDHC card slot for expansion, a USB port, and what looks like a webcam on the back. The tablet runs Google Android 2.2.

The Woori Pad isn’t exactly the most attractive Android tablet I’ve seen. But it’s one of the only games in town if you’re looking for something that doesn’t have a widescreen display. Unfortunately I doubt we’ll see this tablet sold outside of Korea anytime soon.
