As they prepare to launch an expanded range of tablet devices in 2011, Toshiba has released a firmware update to their first Android tablet — the Folio 100. According to The Tech Blog, the new firmware improves the Folio 100’s responsiveness, eliminates UX lag, adds pinch-to-zoom, improves display clarity, and enhances audio and video playback.

There’s still no official access to the Android Market, however, and the Adobe Flash Player 10.1 is notably absent as well — though you can rectify that with a quick visit to xda-developers.
