PC companies have a way of saying a computer has an “edge to edge” screen if there’s a single piece of glass running from one edge to the other — even if that glass covers not just an LCD display, but also a thick black bezel. But LG is getting one step closer to eliminating the bezel with its new Xnote P210 laptop which features one of the smaller bezels I’ve seen. It’s still there, but it doesn’t take up nearly as much space as bezels on most other laptops.

Aside from the screen bezel, the most distinctive thing about this laptop is probably the screen size: 12.5 inches. As far as I can tell, this is the first laptop since the Lenovo IdeaPad U260 to have that screen size. The P210 will be available with Core i3 or Core i5 processor, 4GB of memory, a 320GB hard drive, Bluetooth 3.0, a 1.3MP camera, and Windows 7 Home Premium. It will come in white or pink and white, and run around $1100 to $1200 in Korea. There’s no word on US pricing or availability yet, but I’d imagine this laptop would carry a lower price tag in the West.
