The Huawei S7 is a 7 inch Android tablet with decent specs including a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3G and WiFi data connectivity, and full access to the Google Android Market. But some folks have been disappointed to find that the version currently available in the US and Europe has a resistive touchscreen display, which reacts better to a stylus of fingernail than a fingertip — making some Android apps and functions harder to use than they would be on a screen with a capacitive touch panel.

Now it looks like Huawei may be preparing to bring a version of the S7 tablet to market with a capacitive display. The folks at the Android Tablets forum have discovered a few videos showing the new model, including a promotional video and a hands-on video from Russia, showing off the multitouch capabilities of the new tablet (which don’t appear to be all that good at the moment).

You can check out both videos after the break. Unfortunately there’s no word on pricing or availability yet, although I suspect the capacitive version will cost at least a little more than the resistive version, since the display technology is a bit pricier.
