Good things come to those who wait, and in this particular case the good thing is a much cheaper Dell Streak. The company has knocked a whopping $180 off the sticker price for the unlocked Android tablet — so it’ll now set you back just $399.99 if you decide to pull the trigger.

While the Streak still ships with Android 1.6, there’s a fresh update to 2.2 waiting for you which will be delivered OTA when you first fire it up. The other downside is that you’ll have to wait until mid-January for your device to ship. Streaks on contract ship right away, and they start at $199.99. You also can’t get the special price on any color other than black, but you can always perform a little DIY magic to spruce it up.

Head on over to Dell to check out the full details.
