Acer has done a pretty good job controlling who knows what information their upcoming Android Honeycomb tablets. As Engadget points out, however, Acer wasn’t able to control all the variables in the equation, as some leaked videos of the 10.1″ tablet have been posted to YouTube. As you can see, the software still looks a little on the beta side — something’s just not reading the angry lady touch event properly (check out the final video clip). The tablet’s gyroscope is shown off extensively, albeit through the somewhat mundane activity of page-flipping. Still, the effect looks nice — and more importantly, it should work even better for gaming.

The Acer tablets are due out in April 2011 and the 10-inch model will feature dual-core Qualcomm CPUs at 1Ghz, a 1280×800 pixel display with 10-point multitouch, gyroscope, HDMI output supporting 1080P, and 5MP front-facing and HD rear-facing cameras. The 7-inch model will sport a 1.2GHz CPU.
