There’s plenty of mobile hotspot excitement in the air right now, what with Best Buy’s recent “iPad Anywhere” announcement. If you’re considering picking up one of the pocketable wireless access devices, however, you might want to hold off for a couple more months. According to images posted by Tmo News, T-Mobile plans to begin offering their first 4G MiFi by March 2011.

As for that somewhat-cryptic Lil Wayne codename? It’s likely that T-Mobile is referring to their desire to make the new router play well with as many other devices as possible. Lil Wayne is, after all, one of rap’s great collaborators — having performed on scores of tracks with other artists.
