The Asus Lamborghini VX6 Eee PC notebook is a stylish ultraportable laptop with a 12.1 inch display. It has a 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 dual core processor and NVDIA ION 2 graphics as well as a few other premium features including USB 3.0 support, 2GB of RAM, HDMI output, a 1366 x 768 pixel display, and an audio system designed by Bang & Olufsen.

Asus has been showing off the laptop at trade shows for the past few months, and VX6 is now available in the US for around $699 and in the UK for about £499.

Tghe notebook runs Windows 7 Home premium and has a 6 cell, 57.72Whr battery. It weighs about 3.31 pounds. B&H has one of th ebest prices I’ve found for the Asus VX6 in the US, at about $674 plus free shipping.

You can certainly find cheaper laptops with similar features, but good luck finding one with the Lamborghini name on it for that price.

You can check out a promo video from Asus after the break. It doesn’t really show you very much, but it tries to make the laptop look sexy.

  1. A comment ON DANISH/Dansk : Dette er den mest ultimative og blærede
Laptop på markedet i dag. Så vil du sparke Røv, og vise at livet er for kort til kedelige computors, så skal Du pokker tage mig krybe til biddet.

  2. Oh my god…dude!!! Get a Freakin Life man!!! This is a awesome looking laptop and I’m on my way to getting it this week. Not only is Asus a badass company but they make awesome quality laptops. Candyeye and performance in one. Your probably one of those guys who still enjoys Atari with dots on the screen! You definitely have issues and need to come back to reality! ASUS…here I come!!!

  3. I think this is by far one of the best looking computers I have ever seen. In addition, the quality and detail is astounding. I will be purchasing one of these myself and I have never owned a Lamborghini.

  4. This is such an ugly device. The styling is pathetic. The Lamborghini badge is garish. Sadly, I know people to whom this type of garbage is appeals, which is embarrassing to admit and marginally mitigated only by the fact that they own or have owned a similarly marketed car.

By the way, I’ve always understood “sexy” to mean “sexually attractive”. We live in a world where, by analogy, people call all rectangles squares just because the two are related through the truth of the converse. I’ve come to fear that I have culturally inaccurate beliefs about the meaning of words simply because I can keep my thoughts tidy, but still, from what I understand about the words “sexually” and “attractive”, I can say with no shortage of sincerity that there’s never been a car, computer, or phone that, despite being attractive, I’ve ever confused with being “sexy”. This is not a judgment on the lifestyles of others who do feel sexually attracted to those products or at least describes themselves as if they do.
