Amazon UK has a pre-order page for the Samsung Galaxy Tab with a price of £599.99, or about $950 US. But that’s the price for an unsubsidized tablet. It will likely be much cheaper (up front, at least) for customers who commit to a long term service contract with a UK telecom.
The Galaxy Tab has a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display, a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, and runs Google Android 2.2. It has Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, and GPS support as well as USB and HDMI ports.
All four major US wireless carriers have also committed to offering the tablet, but it’s not yet clear when it will be available in the US.
