While the US version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab won’t be able to make and receive phone calls, that’s a core function of the version offered in Europe. But clearly a 7 inch tablet is a bit of a behemoth to hold up to your head while talking on the phone. That’s where Bluetooth headsets and other accessories come in… like the official Samsung Galaxy Tab Bluetooth Stylus.

Like any stylus, this accessory lets you draw or tap on the screen. It’s designed to work with capacitive displays, which typically reject standard stylus input.

But the Bluetooth Stylus also has a built-in Bluetooth receiver. You can use to answer or reject calls on your phone, and can be paired to up to two Bluetooth devices at a time.

UK retailer Play.com is taking orders for the Bluetooth Stylus for £49.99 , or about $79 US.

  1. Cool, finally some more news about the stylus. But will this even be sold in the US if the US version doesn’t have a phone?
