Samsung is set to officially unveil the Galaxy Tab Android tablet tomorrow. But we’ve been seeing leaks concerning the tablet for weeks — including one indicating that it would soon be available in the US through Verizon Wireless. That’s why the FCC listing uncovered by Wireless Goodness last night is so interesting.
Although there’s very little information about the tablet in the FCC listing, the tablet is described as a 1900 GPRS tablet with 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi. You know what’s missing there? CDMA or WCDMA, also known as the frequencies used by Verizon Wireless. That either means the tablet won’t be available from Verizon, or that there may be multiple versions of the tablet available from multiple carriers.
