Onkyo has introduced a line of Windows tablets in Japan, including 2 devices with 10.1 inch displays and one with an 11.6 inch screen.

The Onkyo TW117A4 features a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and GMA 3150 graphics.It has 1GB of memory, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1. It has a 160GB hard drive and weighs about 2.2 pounds.

The Onkyo TW217A5 has the same basic design, but has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor and Intel GMA 500 graphics.This model has a 32GB SSD and HDMI output. It weighs 1.9 pounds.

The Onkyo TW317A5 has an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display and an Atom N450 processor with Intel GMA 3150 graphics. Like the other models, it features 802.11b//n WiFI, Bluetooth 2.1 and 1HB of RAM. Like the Onkyo TW217A5, this model has HDMI output and a 32GB SSD. The tablet weighs about 2.2 pounds.

  1. The 11.6 is so bloody heavy. Its nearly 1KG. I’d rather get a 10.1 inch Archos that weighs less than 480g, half its weight.

    Do you think just 1.5 inches of extra screen should demand double the weight?
