The Notion Ink Adam tablet is expected to be one of the first tablets to hit the market with a Pixel Qi low power, outdoor-readable display, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 ARM-based chip with 3D and HD graphics capabilities, and a single camera that can be rotated to face the front or back of the device.

But enough about the specs. I know the only thing you really care about is the color… well as it turns out, Notion Ink is working on a few different color designs and is seeking user input to select the best looking colors.

The company plans to produce the tablet in a few different colors, but right now there are 9 options to choose from, and only the best will make the final cut. You can head over the Notion Ink blog to vote for our favorite variations of red, black, white, gray, yellow, or blue.

  1. Vote for METALLIC BLUE! I knew Titanium Black and Titanium Grey would lead the pack but I wanted something less boring. I hope it comes out in Metallic Blue.

The grey in grey+white looks like military color, a greenish brownish grey or dark olive. It looks bleah! How about Brushed Metallic Beige?

Any boring color will look interesting in Metallic or brushed metal finish.

    1. Light Metallic Beige/Light Metallic Gold is a great color on cars. BMWs look nice in this color. Not sure I’d want a computer that color though. Could be nice on a computer too though.I agree that the grey/white looks like military olive drab. (see my previous comment below)

  2. I think they will deliver the device. They seem to have spent a lot of money even on website design (however, I hope they will scrap this new Flash site and go back to the original HTML design). They seem to have the necessary funds for the first device.

  3. Titanium Black.

The “Gray White” looks like olive and white on my monitor.

  4. gah, color doesn’t matter! just get the dang things up for sale already. I’ve dropped my netbook a few times too many … but I don’t want to replace it before pixel qi screens are available in *something*

    1. I agree, who cares about colour. As long as it’s not hogh contrasting colours….

Get the damn thing to market before your competition chews up your customers!

      1. I’m sure they are simultaneously working on the release and marketing and this poll has no effect on the release date. It’s not like it will delay it. This is just icing on the cake.

  5. I went for Grey White and Titanium Black. They looked the bets to my eyes.

    1. Grey White was my choice too; its a ‘dark horse’ to win if only the poll was open to a wider audience… the titaniums seem to be stealing the thunder right now
