Hanvon’s B10 Windows tablet has been making the rounds for a few months, but it looks like it’s finally about to start shipping. NewGadgets.de reports that a version of this 10 inch tablet is due out in Germany next week, and they’ve managed to snag a demo model in advance. The site has also posted the unboxing video to prove it. You can check out the video after the break.
The tablet will come with a 1.3GHz Intel Celeron 743 ULV processor, 2GB of memory and a 250GB hard drive. It has a 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive multitouch display and ships with Windows 7 Home Premium and the Windows 7 Touch pack. The Hanvon B10 also has a 4800mAh battery, 2 USB ports, VGA output and a flash card reader as well as mic and headphone jacks. There’s a 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth, and 802.11b/g WiFi.
The tablet weighs about 2.1 pounds and measures 10″ a 6.6″ x 0.7″. The Hanvon B10 doesn’t come cheap, with a price tag of 771 Euros, or about $975 US.

If they are going to be that expensive, I don’t see then selling very many of them. Tablets are suppose to be an adjunct to a notebook and at $972.00 that is a far cry from being an adjunct. $850.00 will get you an awesome notwbook.
I wouldn’t call a $850 notebook “awesome” perhaps “capable”.
A grand is no problem for businesses and most tablets (nonatom) cost more than that (other than the HP tm2t) so enterprise users might find a use for a lot of these.
You call this piece of awesomeness an adjustment? Just got my hanvon b10 today and its awesome!!! Would even give 10 iPads to get this tablet. Because I just love it! Even upgraded it with 1,000 gb, 4gb ram, win 7 ultimate.. and it works like a charm!!! Would seriously recommend it to others.. its worth every penny.. the touch response is also great, almost as good as the iPad.. I’d say that the only thing that the iPad is better at is for its fastest touch response and thinness.. that’s it! Btw YouTube vids run great on this tablet 😉
That is going to be one of the high end expensive Tablet PCs on the market. It makes me wander if we are going to see some executive model Tablet PCs.
