Inventec’s Dr. Eye MID (Mobile Internet Device) has all the specs of a good smartphone… plus an odd name and a QWERTY keyboard that makes the device look like a tiny laptop.
The Dr. Eye MID has a 4.8 inch, 800 x 480 pixel display, a 600MHz Marvell ARM-based CPU, and runs Google Android 2.1. The device comes in three versions. One model is WiFi only, but there are also GPRS and 3G models which can even make phone calls.
At launch, the Dr. Eye MID will sell for between $350 and $500 in China, although the company wouldn’t rule out a US launch if it can find a distributor.

How would this concept complete with the Lenovo Skylight or Compaq Airlife 100.
Where is the mouse roller?
It looks really neat but the price seems on the high side for what one gets. I think a better price would be $200 or less.
