Lenovo launched an update to its IdeaCentre line of nettops tonight with the introduction of the new IdeaCentre Q150. The new model is ridiculously thin, with barely enough room on the back for a full sized Ethernet port. But the computer still manages to pack an Intel Atom processor, hard drive, and HD graphics functionality into this little PC.

The nettop features optional NVIDIA ION graphics and an HDMI output, which means it should have no problem handling 1080p high definition video playback. The Q150 comes with a choice of a single core Intel Atom D410 or dual core Atom D510 processor and Windows 7 Home Premium or Winodws 7 Home Basic. It comes with 2GB of RAM and a a 5400RPM hard drive (with sies ranging from 160GB  to 500G.

The Lenovo IdeaCentre Q150 features integrated 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 4 USB ports, mic and headphone jacks, S/PDIF audio, VGA output, and 5.1 channel audio. There’s an optional keyboard, mouse, and multimedia remote control with a trackball and keyboard.

The nettop measures just 6.8″ x 6″ x 0.8″ and weighs just 1.67 pounds.

The Lenovo IdeaCentre Q150 will be available for $249 and up at the end of June.

  1. That multimedia remote looks interesting but I think I’d have to try it before making a decision on whether it’d be functional or not.
