The LG X140 already made a stop at the FCC web site a few weeks ago. But now the folks at Wireless Goodness have spotted an update, which mentions the X140 netbook will have a 3G modem with support for GSM 850/1900 and WCDMA bands II and V.

In other words, odds are you’ll be able to use this version of the LG X140 with AT&T’s wireless broadband network. It’s not clear yet whether you’ll be able to pick up the netbook directly from AT&T or if you’ll have to purchase it on your own and sign up for a data plan. My money is on the former.

Last I heard, the LG X140 features a 10.1″ inch 1366 x 768 pixel display and a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 processor. it runs Windows 7 Starter Edition and has 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s also a cheaper version with an Atom N450 processor and 1024 x 600 pixel screen like the one that was spotted in February.
