Electronics maker Hanvon is showing off a few interesting tablet PCs at CeBIT this week. The Hanvon BC10C and BA10E both run Windows, but their insides are a bit different.
Hanvon BC10C
This model has a 10.1″ capacitive 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1.3GHz Intel Celeron ULV743 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive. The case is made of aluminum, plastic, and carbon fiber. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium.
The tablet supports WiFi and Bluetooth and weighs just under 2 pounds.
It also has USB and HDMI ports, and customizable buttons on the sides of the case. There’s also an optical mouse built into the bezel near the bottom of the tablet. The computer has a 250GB hard drive. The BC10C will be priced somewhere between $600 and $700.
Hanvon BA10E
If you’ve been disappointed that many of the newest tablets lack active digitizers for better precision and handwriting, this model might be for you. The Ba10E is available with an active digitizer and electromagnetic stylus. It looks like a capacitive touchscreen option will also be available.
This tablet has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, and a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display. It runs Windos XP Home and weighs between 1.3 pounds and 1.8 pounds.
Like the BC10C, this model has WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, and HDMI connections. It will sell for between $500 and $600.
Both tablets have mics and webcams for making VoIP and video chat calls.
You can check out a hands-on video with both tablets from jkkmobile after the break.
Has any one had bad vibes with the Hanvon B10
Thanks
Chris
Wou…it’s great tablet PC…I like it…
Is anyone going to come out with a tablet UI to sit on top of Windows 7 like Windows Media Center does for HTPCs? I just can’t see using Windows 7 without a mouse or keyboard. One of the advantages of Android is it was designed for a touch interface. I am sure MS can come up with something. Look at what they did on the new Zune.
Hi Joey, Just email Microsoft with your ideas , that way you will know their intentions, if you don’t do anything , nothing wille ver get done .
Goto : http://www.microsoft.com
And email them , Ok .
See Ya
