What do you get when you take an Asus Eee PC 1005PE netbook and swap out the 1024 x 600 pixel display for a higher resolution 1366 x 768 pixel display? Apparently you get an Asus Eee PC 1005PR. The company is showcasing a netbook with this model number at CeBIT in Germany this week.

Other than the display, the netbook appears to be virtually identical to the Asus Eee PC 1005PE. It has the same 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor with GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB of RAM, and 250GB hard drive. It also has 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and a 6 cell battery (with both 48Whr and 63Whr versions available).

There is a mention of “upscaled video performance with TotalMedia Theatre support,” which probably means that the computer comes with a Broadcom Crystal HD video accelerator as well.

No word on the price or release date.
