Targus is unveiling its latest peripherals for PCs, phones, and other electronic devices today. That includes a number of new backpacks and PC cases and a few other goodies including a new Targus Screen Protector which is helps keep touchscreen displays scratch free without attracting fingerprints and smudges.

The $10 Targus screen protector with Clear View technology will be available for a number of phones and small touchscreen devices such as the iPhone and Sony Touch eBook reader at launch. There’s no word on if or when we’ll see larger versions for touchscreen tablets and notebooks.

The screen protector also features an anti-glare treatment.

Targus is also rolling out a new line of AC/DC  laptop chargers that can charge up to two devices at once. There are 11 tips for different laptops, allowing you to purchase a new tip if you get a new computer instead of buying an entirely new travel charger.

The new chargers are smaller and lighter than previous Targus products. For instance, there’s no more AC cord. The chargers all have rotating integrated AC plugs that let you plug into a power strip without blocking other outlets.

There are four different chargers, all of which can charge 2 devices simultaneously:

  • Premium Laptop Charger – Comes with 9 laptop tips, a mini-USB tip, and an iPhone tip for $149.99.
  • Compact Laptop Charger – Comes in two versions, with one compatible with most HP, Acer, Asus, and Fujitsu laptops, while the other is compatible with most Dell, Toshiba, Sony, Lenovo, IBM, and Panasonic laptops. Each has an MSRP of $89.99.
  • Netbook Charger – $89.99 charger that supports netbooks from Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and Samsung.
  • Mobile Laptop Charger – Car charger with 8 laptop tips for $79.99.

Targus is also introducing several new laptop backpacks, messenger bags. Most of these are designed for larger laptops. The smallest I saw was a messenger bag designed to hold a 14″ laptop.
