Some of the top netbook makers, including Asus, Acer, and MSI are based in Taiwan. But Korea’s Samsung Electronics makes some pretty decent netbooks which are available around the globe. Now DigiTimes reports that Samsung is considering introducing its netbook line in Taiwan, where it will compete head to head with local brands.
Samsung already sells TVs, printers, and other products in Taiwan. And the company has already expressed plans to increase its number of global netbook shipments to become the second largest supplier of mini-laptops.
