On paper, the FIC SVE00 netbook loos pretty much like any other recent model. It has a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 CPU, a 10.1 inch. 1024 x 600 pixel display. 1GB of RAM, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and the usual array of ports. It comes with a 3 cell, 4 hour battery and optional Bluetooth, WiMax, and 3.5G connections.
But aesthetically, there’s something a bit odd about this netbook. It has a large case that could easily accommodate a larger keyboard and display. The netbook measures about 11.2″ x 8.5″ x 1″, making it one of the bulkiest 10 inch netbooks I’ve seen. At 2.6 pounds though, it’s not much heavier than a typical netbook.
The FIC SVE00 can accommodate a 2.5 inch hard drive or SSD and supports HDDs up to 500GB or SSDs up to 32GB. The laptop is available with Windows 7 or Linux.

why does the base looks bigger than the screen panel. I find that to be odd.
From the looks of it, the base of this netbook is a lot bigger than the screen + bezel
