Like clockwork, January 5th came and went and Dell followed through on its promise to begin selling the new version of the Inspiron Mini 10 netbook with an Intel Atom N450 Pine Trail processor and integrated GMA 3150 graphics.

The updated Dell Mini 10 is available with Windows XP or Windows 7 and has a starting price of just $299 if you’re cool with a 3 cell battery. Right now there aren’t a lot of customization options to choose from. But soon Dell will begin offering the Mini 10 with an HD display, a Broadcom HD video accelerator, SRS audio, GPS, and a TV tuner.

The new Dell Mini 10 is set to go on sale globally tomorrow.
