As the rumor mill keeps on grinding, we’ve got word that Asus is working on another eBook reader. Unlike the rumored Asus DR-570, which is purported to have a 6 inch OLED color display, the Asus DR-950 is expected to have 9 inch grayscale screen that can handle 16 shades of gray with a resolution of 1024 x 768.

The DR-950 will reportedly feature integrated WiFi, HDPA, and optional WiMAX, a web browser, RSS reader, virtual keyboard and handwriting recognition, text-to-speech functionality, and a built-in dictionary.

The eBook reader packs 4GB of storage and has an SD card slot for additional storage. The DR-950 can handle PDT, TXT, ePUB, MP3, and Audible formats. You know, if it’s real.
