Intel may not be set to officially launch its next-generation Intel Atom processor lineup until January, but that’s not stopping computer based on the Atom Pine Trail platform from popping up all over the place. In Germany you can check out an Asus Eee PC 1005P Pine Trail netbook that hasn’t been released yet. And in China, a new all-in-one desktop has popped up, complete with a dual core desktop Atom processor.

The Chinese all-in-one features an 18.5 inch display, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, optical disc drive, card reader, and wireless mouse and keyboard.

The Pine Trail chipset will use less power than the current Intel Atom 330 dual core desktop processor, while offering slightly improved graphics performance.

That’s about it for details at the moment, but you can check out a few more photos at Shanzai.com.

  1. ‘ve pretty much given up on Via – the Nano has been available for over a year now, but I’m not aware of any netbook that uses it. I doubt this situation will change much with the next version.Same goes for the AMD Neo platform…and unfortunately, Nvidia has stated that they won’t design x86-compatible chips
and that’s a real shame. Intel needs worthy competitor to light a fire under their lazy asses, but apparently other companies can’t/won’t compete in the netbook area.

  2. Is it just me, or is that thing rurning XP Media Center edition? It has the MC smooth shiny plastic look instead of the usual XP blow molded Fisher Price plastic toy look.
