Acer is set to debut another member of the Timeline family, at least in the UK- where the 1820 PTZ convertible will go on sale for €599 December 9th.
The thin-and-light will feature an 11.6” multi-touch capable screen, and Acer reports up to 8 hours of battery life – as with other Timeline models. It’s essentially the tablet equivalent of the 1810T/TZ models Acer released ealier this month. It’s also similar to the 1420p which went home with all the lucky attendees at Microsoft’s PDC 09.
Expect to find an Intel SU2300 processor, 2GB of memory, a 250GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth on the base model. Windows 7 Home Premium comes pre-installed, and there’s even an HDMI port (can we please get these standard from now on?).

The German article mentions that the European 1820 PT(Z) comes with the SU4100 and later also with the SU7300, and will not feature the SU2300. Also, it will come with 4Gb RAM and a 320Gb hard drive. The English translation is pretty bad, so that may have caused the confusion.
if they are only offering this with the SU2300 then i think i might have to pass, i was really wanting a version with the SU7300 that the 1810T has as i plan on doing some virtualization work on it. Honestly i dont really even need a tablet PC but i figured if the price was fairly close too the 1810T then i would pick one up just to keep my options open and have a new toy to play with, i really liked the idea of browsing the web with a tablet.
