The FCC has published documents related to a new and previously announced Lenovo laptop. There’s not a lot of information available, but here’s what we do know: The computer ahs a 10.1 inch display and very few ports on the sides, although it does pack:
- A combo mic/headphone jack
- A single USB port
- Ethernet
- A 3-in-1 card reader
- A mini HDMI port
There will also be WiFi, Bluetooth, and HSDPA options on this model, which is refered to as the 0251 in the FCC documents. The laptop is being manufacturer by Wistron for Lenovo. And tha’ts about all we know. There’s no information about the memory, hard drive, processor, or graphics. The inclusion of an HDMI port seems to indicate that the laptop won’t have the typical 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor. But before you get your heart set on a 10 inch laptop with NVIDIA ION graphics, remember that the Intel Atom Z5xx series with GMA 500 graphics can also support HD video and some existing netbooks with that chipset include HDMI output.

A single USB port!?
FFS.
A 9 or 10 inch netbook, normal specs, half decent battery, half decent screen and an Ion chipset. Is it really that much to ask?
