Lenovo still hasn’t officially announced that it’s putting out an 11.6 inch thin and light laptop with an Intel CULV processor. But just a few days after images and specs for the upcoming Lenovo IdeaPad U150 emerged, Lenovo has posted a user manual for the computer online. So it’s sure starting to look real.
Here’s what we know at this point. The laptop with feature a dual core Intel SU4100 CULV processor and integrated GMA X4500 graphics. It’l have a 4-in-1 card reader, 2 USB ports plus an eSATA/USB combo port, Ethernet, HDMI, VGA, D-sub, headphone and mic jacks. But it looks like there will be a number of options to choose from when it comes to the rest of the specs:
- Display: 11.6″ HD LCD / 11.1″ HD LCD
- Storage: 2.5″ SATA 160/250/320GB 5400rpm hard drive or 16GB/32GB Mini-PCIe SSD
- Memory: DDR3
- Battery: 29Whr 3 cell / 57Whr 6 cell
Bluetooth and 3G options will be available on some models. All versions will ship with internal 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi. The TouchPad supports multitouch gestures including pinching to zoom and two-finger scrolling.
The Lenovo IdeaPad U150 will weigh just under 3 pounds with a 3 cell battery or about 3.3 pounds with a 6 cell battery and measures 11.5″ x 7.6″ x 1″ with a 3 cell battery. The 6 cell battery will add a bit of height, bringing that last figure to 1.35 inches.

CULV+X4500 is fine.
I’m sure you’ll be able to play low graphics games like World of Warcraft with it.
I’m not sure if ION is such a good idea anymore with Nvidia discontinuing development of chipsets.
Still patiently waiting for an affordable CULV with dedicated graphics (ION would be fine.)
I want a decent all around portable laptop. Want to be able to play low end graphics games and handle video.
Any guess when I will be able to see this?
