Asus will begin selling the Eee PC 1201HA in Italy in mid-November for about 399 Euros (just under $600 US). The Eee PC 1201HA features a 12.1 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, 1.3GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU, GMA 500 graphics, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive and a 6 cell battery. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium and also sports 802.11b/g/n WiFi, the usual array of ports and jacks, and comes with 500GB of online storage — Asus is kind of going all out on the Eee Storage thing.
There’s no word on a US launch date yet, but we’ve been seeing rumors about this model for a while now, and Asus has already posted a number of downloads for the Eee PC 1201HA on its support site.
Asus is also expected to launch a higher end model called the Eee PC 1201N. It will have NVIDIA ION graphics, a dual core Intel Atom N330 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive. No word on a release date for that model in Italy or elsewhere yet.

I’m really looking forward to having a go on the keyboard of this netbook. I currently have an acer timeline 13″ laptop, which I think has the same keys as this one and it’s a beauty to use.
hmmmm we are getting closer I hope to the 1201N. I was really thinking about the UL20, but I think the 1201N will be a better choice… if they ever release it!
