With Windows 7 due out exactly a month from today, expect to see a ton of product announcements for computers running the new OS in the next few weeks. But something else we’re going to start seeing a lot of is companies issuing updated drives for existing computers to make it easier for users to upgrade to the new OS.
Kevin at jkOnTheRun spotted a new BIOS update on Toshiba’s web site for the company’s NB205 mini-laptop. There are also updated drivers for the display, touchpad, card reader, and audio hardware.
Odds are that Toshiba will begin shipping the Toshiba NB205 or a similar netbook with Windows 7 before the end of the year. But if you’ve already picked one up running Windows XP and are looking to update, this is good news.
go to nb230 model and download the software drivers from that model I find everything works except the function keys. I’m hoping Toshiba will come out with something soon.
i just bought my mini netbook the nb205 and it came with xp. i updated it to windows 7 but somehow when i updated it, i lost the web camera. i dont know what happened i followed toshibas instructions to install it but its still missing. does anyone have suggestion? thanks

Hopefully, Win7 lives up to its advance whispers, or MS could be in trouble.
