samsung logo2Samsung is preparing a series of laptops with Intel CULV processors. The one I’m most interested in is the upcoming Samsung X120 which will reportedly feature an 11.6 inch display, 1.2GHz Intel Celeron 723 processor, and integrated X4500M graphics. This puts it squarely in the same category as the Acer Aspire 1410 and Dell Inspiron 11z.

The X120 will also reportedly ship with 2GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive and weigh about 3 pounds.

According to Notebookspot.nl, the Samsung X120 will sell for about 550 Euros ($782), which seems a bit steep when compared to similar laptops from Acer and Dell that sell for about $450. But it’s possible that the price could come down significantly if and when the laptop is released in the US.

  1. Have not heard nice things about the CULV speed. Think I will keep my Samsung NC10.
