You know that iiView A2 super-thin laptop we spotted a few weeks ago? It turns out it’s real, and the folks at BabyPC managed to snag one. They say it looks more like an Asus Eee PC 1101HA than a MacBook Air, but the iiView A2 has a more powerful 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU.
The laptop also has a 12.1 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display, 2GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive. The laptop ships for now with a pre-release copy of Windows 7.
The laptop has a fairly large keyboard and touchpad with a single button underneath. There are 2 USB ports, and a mini-HDMI output, which doesn’t make a whole heck of a lot of sense, since the laptop is saddled with integrated graphics. Perhaps it’s a sign of upgrades to come. There’s also a fairly large access panel on the bottom which may be for upgrading the RAM and/or hard drive.
