Scandinavian computer seller Zepto has introduce a new 10.1 inch netbook. The Zepto Znote V10a sports your typical netbook specs, including a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive. It has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 802.11b/g WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1, a 1.3MP camera, and a 7-in-1 flash card reader. It runs Windows XP SP3.
The netbook has a nice keyboard, which reminds me of the HP Mini 1000 keyboard. It also has a few other HP-like elements including just 2 USB ports, and a touchpad which features left and right mouse buttons on the left and right sides of the pad, instead of below it, (although the HP Mini 5101 has a redesigned touchpad and 3 USB ports).
It’s possible that the Zepto Znote V10a is a rebranded version of another netbook, but I can’t quite place my finger on the model. The netbook measures 10.7″ x 7.4″ x 1.1″, weighs 2.6 pounds, and has a 3350mAh battery. It costs about $495, including tax.
thanks Peter!
