The Packard Bell Dot M/A is basically a rebranded Gateway LT3100 that’s available in some parts of Europe. Both Gateway and Packard Bell are subsidiaries of Acer, so it’s likely that the only real difference between these two computers is the branding.
That said, Netbookwereld has the first video overview I’ve seen of either laptop. You can see the complete video after the break. You can also find a more detailed description and more photos at Netbookwereld.
The Dot M/A has an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, an AMD Athlon L110 64-bit processor, and ATI Radeon X120 graphics. It also has 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and a 6 cell battery. It also has a multitouch trackpad and a SIM card slot for 3G enabled models.
yep. they bought EVERYONE. including themselves. makes’em pretty much untaxable.
Acer’s a sub of Acer? 😛
