Samsung and LG may not be the first two names that spring to mind when you think about netbooks, or more generally, laptop computers. But the two Korean companies have produced some excellent mini-laptops, including the popular Samsung NC10, and the LG X110 which is manufacturer by MSI.

Now DigiTimes is reporting that the two companies have significantly increased their netbook production. Both companies have recently introduced new models (the Samsung N110, N120 and N310 and the LG X120), so I’m assuming that the article means that we’ll see increased shipments of these models rather than increased production or previously announced models. But you never know. Things move fast in the netbook space.
