forsa-poshbookThe Forsa Poshbook is an unusual netbook/notebook hybrid that will come in two versions. You’ll be able to grab a model with an Intel Atom processor that’s more of a netbook style device, presumably with a low cost version of Windows XP or Windows 7. Or you can spring for a more capable notebook version with an Intel CULV processor.

The CULV version will support up to 2GB of RAM and hard drives up to 250GB, while the netbook version will ship with 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive. Both models will have 12 inch screens, an EpressCard slot, 3 USB ports, a flash card reader, Ethernet and VGA ports, and WiFi. GPS and HSDPA options will be available.

The sample unit on display at Computex last week had a 6 cell battery, but the Forsa Poshbook will ship with a 3 cell battery that sits flush with the chassis.
