Computer maker Compal is showing off one of those Google Android netbooks we first heard the company would be developing back in April. The netbook on display at Computex has a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and what looks like a 9 or 10 inch display and a nearly full sized keyboard.
Compal is being shy with a release date for this model, and the truth is you’ll probably never see a netbook wearing the Compal brand name anyway. The company primarily manufacturers computers that big name companies rebrand and sell under their own names.
This particular netbook also has a custom user interface running on top of Google Android which includes a pretty slick looking contact manager.
You can check out two videos of the Compal netbook after the break, courtesy of jkkmobile and techvideoblog.
