I’ve kind of stopped covering the news every time Asus launches a new netbook model with the word “Go” in it, because this is just the company’s way of pointing out that it’s added a 3G module to an existing computer. But I figured it was worth noting that there are a few new “Go” laptops on display at Computex for devices that haven’t officially been released yet.

The Asus Eee PC 1005HGO is basically an Eee PC 1005HA with a HUAWEI EM770 3G modem. Otherwise, it’s got all the specs you would expect, including a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pxiel display, 1.66GHz Intel Atom CPU, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, 1GB of RAM, and a 160Gb hard drive. It ships with a 5 cell battery that should be good for around 8 to 0 hours.

The Asus Eee PC 1101HGO is the 3G-enabled version of the new Asus Eee PC 1101HA. It has the same HUAWEI EM770 3G module as the 1005HGO, but otherwise looks like the Eee PC 1101HA. It features an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, 1.3GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GB of RAM, and a 160Gb hard drive. It has a 6 cell, 8 hour battery.
