Lenovo is now taking orders for the IdeaPad S10-2. The latest addition to the company’s S series is the thinnest and lightest member of the IdeaPad S family, although it lacks the ExpressCard slot found on earlier models. The S10-2 is also more expensive than the original S10, with a starting price of $439.
The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 also has a redesigned case, comes in more colors, and for some reason has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display instead of the 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel screen found on earlier models.

Seriously, after the bait and switch Lenovo pulled with the original S-10, I don’t think it makes sense to buy anything from them. This looks like more shade: pull features and charge more, slap an incremented name on it to make people think it’s next-gen. Business as usual for Lenovo.
I thought the s10-2 was supposed to be $350? That seems to be what most sites said it would cost. I planned on purchasing one but now will how to think a little more.
