You know how Asus has a habit of releasing new netbooks with new model numbers and only slightly different specifications? Like the Asus Eee PC 90o with a Celeron processor and the Eee PC 900A with an Intel Atom CPU. Apparently the idea is catching on, because Onkyo’s latest netbook has almost everything in common with an earlier model.

The Onkyo Sotec C103 netbook has an Intel Atom N270 CPU, a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, a 160Gb hard drive, 1Gb of RAM, and 802.11b/g/n WiFi. In other words, it’s exactly the same as the Sotec C101 netbook in all ways but one: It’s available in black and silver, while the C101 comes in black and white.

  1. Wow, smallest space bar EVER. I would so hit that “fast forward” button to the right of it constantly. What happens if you fast-forward a document, though? Does it finish typing itself? Hmm…
