The HP Mini 1000 and HP Mini 2140 haven’t been around very long. But rumor has it that HP is already looking ahead toward its next generation mini-laptop. DigiTimes reports that Inventec will produce a new line of netbooks for HP and could begin production as soon as this June.
There’s not much information available other than the fact that the computers will have 10 inch screens, and could use a VGA CMOS image sensor from Hynix Semiconductor. I know, riveting stuff, right? Anyway, let’s put this in the rumor category for now. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see HP and other netbook makers come out with refreshed models about 6 months after CES… just in time for the Computex trade show in Taiwan.
…WHAT MADNESS IS THIS?
i wonder if this is just a refresh with newer cpus, or actual new designs.
