Acer has launched a UK product page for the Acer Aspire One D250, which appears to be the first 10 inch model in the company’s Aspire One Pro line. The netbook packs a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g WiFi, Ethernet, and 3G wireless with support for HSDPA, HSUPA, and UMTS networks. It runs Windows XP.
It looks like the netbook will be available with either a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 or a 1.68GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, and either the Intel 945GSE chipset or the Intel 82801GBM chipset.
The Aspire One D250 measure 10.2″ x 7.2″ x 1 inches. The notebook supports up to 2GB of RAM, and comes comes with a 3 or 6 cell battery. Interestinly, there appear to be two different 6 cell battery options. One is a 48.8Whr 4400mAh battery that will provide up to 6 hours of run time, while the other is a 57.7Whr 5200mAh battery that should be good for up to 7.5 hours. The 3 cell battery is a 24.4 Whr 2200mAh battery that Acer says is good for up to 3 hours and 15 minutes.
With a 3 cell battery the laptop weighs 2.4 pounds. The 6 cell version will weigh 2.8 pounds.
