fidohub-installation

Hoda Technology/Fidohub have been offering touchscreen installation kits for a number of netbooks for a few months now. One of the things that sets Fidohub’s touchscreens apart from some of the others you’ll find on eBay is that the company provides instructions for installing the displays. But if you want some even more detailed instructions, complete with a ton of pictures, check out Netbook Mag’s walkthrough for installing a touchscreen on the Samsung NC10.

As Fidohub promises, no soldering iron is required. But obviously you do need to disassemble your netbook case, potentially voiding your warranty to install the $96 touchscreen.

To see how the Samsung NC10 performs with the touchscreen in place, check out the video after the break.

  1. Is there one for all makes? HP 2140 for example? Or the HP one with Ubuntu on it?
Now that is one video I would like to see (and the install video would be even better).
