The Archos 10 netbook, which includes some pretty standard specs and a $50 credit toward music and movies purchased from the Archos Media Club, is now available for sale. You can pick up a model with a 3 cell battery for about $400 from the Archos web store, or pay $450 to get the version with the 6 cell battery.
I’d recommend springing for the 6 cell version, since the 3 cell battery only lasted about 2 hours in Laptop Magazine’s review. The higher capacity battery should give you a more respectable 4 hours of run time, although it will also add a little bulk and weight to the netbook.
You can also order the Archos 10 from Amazon. The 6 cell version costs the same wherever you buy it right now. But Amazon has the 3 cell version for just $380.99.
