It’s already been reported that Acer plans to introduce a netbook with a 10 inch display. So far every mini-laptop in the Acer Aspire One line has featured an 8.9 inch display. While there’s still no official word from Acer about the new models, fan site Macles has posted some images of what it says are Aspire One netbooks with 10.1 inch screens.
If the site’s information is correct, the netbooks will be a lot like the existing Acer Aspire One models, except there will be just a single SD card slot and no onboard memory, just a single DIMM slot which will support up to 2GB of RAM. The 10.1 inch screen will reportedly support the same 1024 x 600 pixel display resolution you can find on existing Aspire Ones (and practically every other netbook for that matter).

The 10.1 inch Acer models do not have a resolution of 1024×576. It is 1024×600.
Hmmmmm…… a bigger screen with the same resolution (or less vertically if “diablow” is correct – which is going in the WRONG direction). Not much to recommend it over the 9 inch six cell version I’m happily using now unless perhaps it came with 2Gb installed, XP and a six cell for the $399 or less.
I’m not so sure about 10.1″ resolution. All netbooks with 10.1″ screen have resolution of 1024×576 , e.g. Lenovo S10E, upcoming european version of HP Mini 1000, BenQ netbook (can’t remember model).
