Like most netbooks with Intel Atom processors, it turns out that you can install OS X on the Samsung NC10 netbook pretty easily by using a hacked version of the operating system designed for the MSI Wind U100. But while the processor and display resolution are supported out of the box, there are a few things that aren’t:
- The USB ports
- The WiFi card (although a driver may eventually be released that will solve this, or you may be able to swap out the WiFi card for a supported model)
- The headphone port doesn’t work
On the plus side, the speakers do appear to work.
You can also get Windows 7 on the NC10. Drivers for all the hardware; camera, microphone, WiFi etc.

Interesting, but no USB is a deal killer. Something to watch though.
No USB and WiFi would both be a deal killer. I wouldn’t be able to get my work done without WiFi. Yes you could hook this netbook up with a wired connection but if I had it I would prefer to work wirelessly.
The wifi hardware can be replaced.
